Macbeth: the Downward Spiral

We will end the semester with a brief study of Shakespeare’s play about a Scottish nobleman and his wife who murder their king for his throne. This play is a master depiction of a guilt ridden conscience and the consequences one must face. We will perform scenes and watch clips of Polanski's version.
